MARKETING & PR
Co-develop the company’s annual marketing and PR plans, including newsletters, media, communication style (including marketing collateral, images, website) with goal of increasing leads.
Assist and/or lead rebranding and messaging to enhance market visibility and position, with specific emphasis on the North American market.
Develop new, or improve existing, systems including reservations software, file management and pre- and post- departure processes.
Train existing staff on new product and destinations; act as an internal resource to junior staff.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT
Develop or improve the client customer service experience including but not limited to pre-departure materials, the booking process and post-travel communications.
Identify your company’s key growth opportunities and competition.
Develop company’s conservation mission, objectives and and mechanisms for supporting conservation through tangible contributions.
TRADE SHOW REPRESENTATION
Attend trade shows on behalf of the company, representing your interests, and extracting key information on new developments.
Collaborate as sounding board and advisor in new opportunities for company growth, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Assist or lead the negotiation of special commission structures and value-adds with suppliers, reduction of dependence on DMCs, increase vertical integration.
Provide turnkey coverage for owners (or other staff) when out-of-town with no heavy training required.
